Guang Ming Temple is a branch of Fo Guang Shan. The temple serves as a center for multicultural education, social functions and festival activities. Most importantly, we make available Buddha’s teaching to the local community to enhance the spiritual growth of our devotees.

Fo Guang Shan, the largest Buddhist monastery in Taiwan, was founded in 1967 by Venerable Master Hsing Yun. Under Venerable Master’s leadership, Fo Guang Shanh has flourished across all five continents with over 300 temples, more than 1300 ordained disciples and millions of lay devotees. The objectives of Fo Guang Shan are to promote the principles of Humanistic Buddhism, and to foster peace and harmony among all peoples of the world through education, culture, cultivation and charity.

All are welcome – all are valued.
