Orlando Flamenco

Orlando-based Flamenco del Sol is ‘all Flamenco all the time’.  With children’s and adult’s programs, we serve ages 4 through adult at our academy and perform throughout the U.S. and Carribean with our professional company.  We bring in today’s flamenco greats to offer workshops and master classes at the academy several times a year.

Flamenco del Sol celebrates over two decades of Flamenco theater with a flurry of productions including critically lauded performances from the Orlando Fringe Festival to the Dr. Phillips Center. Productions include “Corazon Flamenco” featuring international guest star and artistic partner Angel Rojas, “El Amor Brujo,” “Camino Flamenco,” award-winning “Misa Flamenca”, “Carmen”, and just this year, “Romeo y Julieta” starring Madrid based Choreographer and director Carlos Rodriguez, artistic director of “Spain’s Got Talent”.

This season we present “Dracula”, concept, direction and choreography by Carlos Rodriguez and guest starring international bailaora Daniela Tugues.
