Chance 2 Dance, Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, founded in 2016 by Nicole Warren. Chance 2 Dance provides inclusive and accommodating dance classes to children, youth and adults with varying special needs, disabilities, and exceptionalities. We are a charitable and educational organization that is providing unique dance classes designed and programmed specifically for individuals with special needs. Each class provides developmentally appropriate dance lessons that have a weekly movement focus. The class focus can range from exploring movement concepts to classical dance style movement variations. The ultimate goal for these dance classes is to have an annual performance where they can be on stage in front of an audience showcasing their talents.
In 2018, C2D Founder, Nicole designed the layout and blueprints for a new type of dance studio space. With the C2D board of directors and community fundraising efforts to support a buildout, Chance 2 Dance opened the state of Florida’s first sensory-friendly dance studio, providing multiple program offerings for equal arts opportunities for all people of all backgrounds and abilities can come together in an inclusive environment that has full programming specifically to maximize each individual dance participants potential through scalable classes and appropriately designed lesson plans around dancer’s personal growth goals.

Mission
To provide children, youth, and adults with varying needs and exceptionalities the opportunity and a Chance 2 Dance. To give everyone, no matter their disability, the opportunity and chance to dance, smile a lot & have fun, and connect & build relationships with the dancers.

Provide fully accredited and educated dance professionals to serve the community with their love for the art and give back their expertise to a new generation of dancers. Our instructors are highly trained professionals that have a pre-planned curriculum that incorporates aspects of the NDEO and the Sunshine State Standards. The teachers will provide fun and engaging dance activities that are developmentally appropriate and purposeful in the hopes that we will enhance the lifestyle of those participating. We educate our dancers through a series of classes where they will be exposed to classical dance technique, fine, gross, and locomotor skills, perceptual development, learning choreo and movement retention, and performance prep. Dance classes and lesson focuses are adaptable to meet the physical and mental demands/limitations and expectations of each individual participating.
