SINGS! Summer Institute for the Next Generation of Singers

Opera Orlando holds an annual week-long summer intensive for singers ages 15-20 who are looking to learn about what it takes to become a  professional singer. With instruction and direction from Opera Orlando staff and teaching artists, students receive coachings on solo repertoire, participate in masterclasses with industry professionals, hone their resume-writing skills, and have discussions with artists who are in the field. There is a focus on wellness and movement with yoga classes, vocal health seminars, and vocal anatomy sessions. Students also have the opportunity to take new headshots and perform in a showcase concert that will be recorded.
